Besmak Components Pvt Ltd is looking for a full-time AGM (Costing & Management Accounting) to join their team in an exciting time of organisational growth and development. The role reports to the Head - Finance & Accounts.
Main Responsibilities
1. Drive the Annual Business plan process by collating the inputs from various stakeholders, preparing and finalizing the detailed business vertical wise Annual budget.
2. Ensure budgetary adherence on all cost elements in the end-to-end manufacturing processes and drive cost optimization initiatives.
3. Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financials and other management reports with variance analysis to stakeholders
4. Evaluate capex investment proposals in terms of Budget adherence, Payback period, Net present value etc, monitor and report the variance in actual performance
5. Evaluate the financial viability of new Business proposals in terms of Payback, Net present value and scenario analysis
6. Assess and mitigate financial risks, establish Internal controls, prepare robust SOPs and maintain compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
7. Exercise Overall control on Inventory by periodic Physical verification and reconciliation,
optimizing and controlling Inventory levels through defined KPIs, Avoidance of Non-moving stock generation, ensuring FIFO etc
8. Ensure timely completion of Cost Audit and other compliance/statutory requirements
9. Any other ad hoc reports or analysis required by management for critical decision making
Senior Management
The AGM (Costing & Management Accounting) will be expected to play a proactive role in the management of the organisation, including:
- Organisational strategic planning
- Organisational development
- Leveraging digital capabilities for Creative business solutions
Staff Management
Management of Costing and Management Accounting team, including:
- Agreeing objectives and work plans
- Managing workload and performance through regular one-to-one line management discussions
- Plan and implement personal development programme for team members in all relevant skills
- Undertake annual performance reviews
Preferred candidate profile
- CMA/CA qualified with 10 to 15 years of experience in similar role
