Job Summary

You will lead financial control and reporting for markets and entities across Asia Pacific from India. You will work closely with market finance teams, shared service centres, IT and regional stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely and controlled financial outcomes. Work arrangement: Hybrid. You will typically work from an India office 2-3 days per week and remotely for the remainder. Occasional travel within the region may be required.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end financial control and month-end close for assigned APAC markets and legal entities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage relationships with shared service centres, vendors and market teams to resolve issues and improve service outcomes.
- Monitor service performance with clear metrics and lead continuous improvement and automation efforts.
- S maintain and strengthen internal controls; support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policy.
- Coach, lead and develop a team of finance professionals, providing clear expectations and career support.
- Coordinate system changes, process transitions or finance transformation activities to ensure smooth implementation and business readiness.

Requirements

Basic Qualification

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, IT or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 7 years experience in finance operations, financial controlling, shared services or service delivery.




- Practical experience with month-end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Strong awareness of internal controls and experience supporting audits.
- Experience managing vendors, shared service partners or outsourced providers.
- Practical experience with ERP systems such as SAP and strong Excel skills.
- Good written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualification

- Professional accounting qualification such as CA, ACCA or CIMA.
- Experience leading finance service delivery in a multinational or matrix organisation.
- Hands-on experience with process automation, robotic process automation or analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI.
- Background in finance transformation, ERP implementations or large-scale change programmes.
- Familiarity with audit readiness and control frameworks.
- Proven experience coaching and developing teams in a fast-paced setting.
