Position Requirements

- Masters in Agriculture /Water Management /Rural Development from a reputed institute
- Positive communication skills in Telugu, English, and Hindi.
- Minimum 8-10 years experience in project management and implementation
- Computer literacy, knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good Liaising skills with the Government departments and other stakeholders
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal daily supervision
- Willingness to travel across project areas.
- Fluency in Telugu (mandatory); working knowledge of Hindi and/or English

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include the following:

- Monitor field activities and ensure quality and timelines
- Organize training programs for Assistant Program Leads, Agriculture Coordinators, Block Coordinators, and community leaders to build the capacity of the team on various themes




- Develop and maintain close working relationships with government officers, community leaders in villages, grassroots organizations, NGOs, and elected representatives at the panchayat, district level, and state level
- Prepare narrative and financial reports on the projects
- Remain abreast of government policies and programs
- Prepare project proposals including budgets on agriculture, livelihood, water management, community leadership, digital literacy, youth leadership, and strengthening panchayats for donors
- Network and liaise with government departments, KVKs, universities, and other key stakeholders.
- Represent S M Sehgal Foundation in externally organized workshops, conferences, and seminars.
- Prepare information and communications materials, pamphlets, banners, booklets, and training manuals in Hindi and English on various project themes
- Work for the sustainability of projects, i.e. current as well as past.
- Ensure that S M Sehgal Foundation's vision, mission, values, culture, policies, and procedures are adhered to.
- Any other responsibility assigned as per the requirements of the organization.
