Job Summary

UAT / Manual Test Engineer to support a banking project related to Outward Remittance. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in testing customer-facing web and mobile applications. Product-specific experience is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, functional specifications and user stories.
- Prepare comprehensive test scenarios, test cases and test data.
- Execute UAT, functional, integration, system, regression, smoke and sanity testing.
- Perform end-to-end testing of customer-facing web and mobile applications.
- Validate positive, negative, boundary and exception scenarios.
- Identify, document, track and retest defects through closure.
- Perform regression testing after fixes and application changes.
- Coordinate with Business, Development and QA teams during UAT cycles.
- Maintain test execution status, defect reports and testing documentation.




- Validate application behavior across supported browsers and mobile environments.

Requirements

- Strong Manual Testing / UAT Testing experience.
- Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC and Defect Life Cycle.
- Experience in functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test scenarios and cases.
- Good defect reporting and tracking skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Positive communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
