- Ensure implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies at the plant.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Identify workplace hazards and implement preventive and corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct safety induction and training sessions for employees and contract workers.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
- Monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe working practices.
- Maintain safety documentation, inspection reports, and incident records.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure secure plant operations.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems, toolbox talks, and emergency preparedness activities.
- Support implementation of fire safety measures and emergency response procedures.
