Job Summary

We are looking for a result-oriented Procurement Executive with experience in chemical procurement to manage sourcing, vendor development, purchase orders, and material deliveries. The candidate should have a robust understanding of industrial chemicals and raw materials, preferably within the chemical manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of industrial chemicals, raw materials, solvents, and other operational supplies.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors to ensure quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, negotiate prices, and issue purchase orders as per company policies.
- Coordinate with production, stores, quality, and other departments to understand material requirements and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, supplier performance, and material availability.
- Maintain vendor databases, procurement records,



purchase documentation, and MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with quality specifications, safety standards, and applicable statutory requirements related to chemical procurement.
- Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Resolve vendor-related issues concerning material quality, delivery delays, invoices, and payment coordination.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- 3–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in chemical manufacturing or specialty chemicals.
- Hands-on experience in sourcing industrial chemicals and raw materials.
- Strong negotiation, vendor management, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple procurement activities and meet deadlines efficiently.
