Role summary

- A Tech Lead for Salesforce Loyalty Cloud (Loyalty Management) owns the technical design and delivery quality of the loyalty solution.
- Translates business loyalty requirements (tiers, points, promotions, redemptions) into a scalable, well-governed Salesforce implementation.
- Leads and mentors the development team while acting as the senior technical decision-maker.

Core technical leadership responsibilities

- Own end-to-end solution architecture and technical design, including build-vs-configure decisions within platform limits and best practices.
- Lead the data model design across standard Loyalty objects (LoyaltyProgram, LoyaltyProgramMember, LoyaltyMemberCurrency, TransactionJournal, LoyaltyTier/TierGroup, vouchers, benefits) and any custom extensions.
- Define the integration architecture connecting Loyalty to POS/commerce, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Service/Sales Cloud, and external systems via Loyalty Connect REST APIs, Platform Events, and MuleSoft.




- Set and enforce coding standards and run code reviews across Apex, LWC, and Flows.
- Own the DevOps and release strategy: sandbox strategy, version control, CI/CD, and deployments.
- Lead technical estimation and planning, and serve as the escalation point for complex technical blockers.

Loyalty Cloudspecific responsibilities

- Configure and govern loyalty programs end to end: program setup, currencies (points), tiers and tier groups, member enrollment, perks, vouchers, and partner management.
- Design the rules engine — program processes and decision tables driving accrual (earning) and redemption logic — keeping it maintainable as promotions change.
- Architect high-volume transaction processing (accruals, point expiration, tier recalculation) with governor limits, bulkification, and batch/async patterns in mind.
