Company Overview

Preet Group is engaged in the manufacturing of industrial machinery, including CNC, VMC and HMC machine tools, along with rolling mill machinery and related engineering solutions.

Job Purpose

To plan, execute, monitor, and deliver rolling mill machinery and turnkey projects within the agreed timelines, budgets, quality standards, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Planning & Execution

- Manage end-to-end rolling mill machinery projects from order receipt and engineering coordination through manufacturing, dispatch, erection, and commissioning.
- Prepare project schedules, milestones, resource plans, and execution strategies.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion.

- Engineering & Manufacturing Coordination

- Coordinate with Design, Production, PPC, Purchase, Quality, Assembly, and Service departments.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, technical specifications, and manufacturing schedules.
- Resolve technical and execution-related issues in coordination with the concerned teams.

- Installation & Commissioning

- Coordinate site erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of rolling mill machinery.
- Manage customer communication, site requirements, and technical support during project execution.
- Ensure proper handover and closure of projects.

- Cost & Schedule Management

- Track project budgets, costs, material availability, manpower, and resource utilization.




- Identify delays and risks and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain project reports, progress dashboards, and management updates.

- Client & Vendor Coordination

- Act as the primary coordination point for customers, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct project review meetings and provide regular progress updates.
- Ensure customer requirements and agreed technical specifications are fulfilled.

- Quality, Safety & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and project specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, inspection reports, commissioning records, and handover documents.

Required Skills & Experience

- Extensive years of experience in heavy engineering, rolling mill machinery manufacturing, or turnkey industrial machinery projects.
- Strong preference for candidates from rolling mill machinery manufacturers or steel plant equipment companies.
- Proven experience in project planning, manufacturing coordination, erection, and commissioning.
- Good understanding of mechanical engineering drawings, BOMs, manufacturing processes, and project scheduling.
- Solid leadership, team management, problem-solving, and customer-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and project planning/reporting tools.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a hands-on Project Manager with direct experience in rolling mill machinery manufacturing and project execution, capable of coordinating engineering, production, procurement, assembly, and site commissioning activities.
