About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and proactive Operations Executive to manage day-to-day transportation operations, coordinate with drivers and customers, track vehicles, and ensure timely loading and delivery of shipments.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily vehicle placement, loading, unloading, and delivery activities.
- Plan and monitor vehicle movements as per customer requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers, transporters, customers, and internal teams.
- Track vehicles through GPS and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure vehicles report on time and minimize detention and empty running.
- Monitor trip progress from loading to final delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle movements, detention, and delivery status.
- Coordinate for POD collection and timely submission.
- Identify operational delays and resolve issues proactively.
- Follow up on pending loads, unloading, detention, and vehicle availability.
- Prepare daily MIS and operational reports.
- Coordinate with the accounts team regarding trip documents, diesel expenses, advances, and billing requirements.




- Escalate major operational issues to the Operations Manager.

Skills Required

- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Basic knowledge of transportation and logistics operations.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Google Sheets.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple vehicles simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts when required.
- Experience with GPS/vehicle tracking systems will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate

- Graduate in any discipline.
- 1–4 years of experience in transport, logistics, fleet management, or supply-chain operations.
- Candidates with experience handling commercial vehicles, automotive logistics, or OEM transportation will be preferred.

- Trip documentation accuracy

The ideal candidate should be disciplined, highly proactive, positive at follow-ups, and capable of taking ownership of day-to-day fleet operations.
