- Operate and program CNC machines according to engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Prepare, edit and execute CNC programs using G-codes and M-codes.
- Set up machines, tools, fixtures and workpieces for machining operations.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and tolerances.
- Select suitable cutting tools and set tool offsets, work offsets, feed rates and spindle speeds.
- Perform CNC machine setting, prove-out and first-piece inspection.
- Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers and bore gauges.
- Monitor machining operations to ensure product quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Identify and troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear and program errors.
- Maintain production targets while following quality standards and machine safety procedures.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain production and inspection records.
- Coordinate with the quality and production teams to minimize rejection and improve productivity.
