- Prospect for recent customers and develop leads within an assigned territory
- Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face customer visits
- Present products or services clearly and persuasively to meet customer needs
- Prepare and present accurate quotations and proposals
- Negotiate commercial terms and agree sales contracts with customers
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team targets
- Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity and customer interactions
- Follow up on enquiries and progress orders through to completion
- Manage account relationships to maximise repeat business and retention
- Collect and relay market feedback and competitor activity to inform strategy
