- Technical Proposals & Costing: Analyze client component drawings and create structured engineering proposals using Excel formats to clearly demonstrate cost-per-part savings, cycle-time reductions, and ROI.
- Sales Team Field Support: Accompany the sales team to client sites to handle technical queries, study machining requirements, and recommend optimal tooling solutions.
- In office Trial Execution: Lead new cutting tool testing and shop-floor validation trials at local client facilities, optimizing speeds, feeds, and depth of cut on CNC milling and turning machines.
- Tooling Design & Layout: Conceptualize special-purpose cutting tools and customized machining layouts using AutoCAD or SolidWorks when required.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose tool wear, chip evacuation issues, or early tool breakage on the client's shop floor and provide prompt engineering solutions.
