About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Field Sales Executive to generate leads, build customer relationships, and close sales. You will meet customers at their workplaces, manage the sales cycle from first contact to purchase order, and work closely with our back office team to ensure accurate quotations and smooth order processing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect customer information from personal and company resources to identify and build a pipeline of prospects.
- Visit customers at their workplaces to generate leads and close sales.
- Record all leads in the CRM or the approved documentation process.
- Report leads generated and daily work activities to your supervisor on a daily basis.
- Coordinate with the back office to prepare quotations, and ensure they are sent to customers along with product information, product availability, and shipment schedules (where applicable).
- Follow up with customers on the details sent, verify their accuracy, and arrange modifications where required.
- Negotiate with customers and finalise purchase orders.
- Escalate any queries or clarifications to your supervisor.
- After receiving a purchase order, confirm with the back office that the customer’s contact person, address, phone number, and email ID are accurate.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in field sales, business development, or a similar role (freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Valuable organisational and time management skills
- Working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office
- Willingness to travel locally for customer visits
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently
