We are looking for a creative, hands-on and detail-oriented Fashion Designer or Fashion Design Assistant who understands garment construction and enjoys working directly with fabrics and clothing.
The candidate should have practical knowledge of sewing, stitching and fabric cutting, along with an interest in fashion design, garment development and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with garment designing, development and finishing.
- Perform sewing, stitching and fabric cutting.
- Assist with garment alterations and fit corrections.
- Handle fabric, measurements and basic garment construction.
- Support pattern preparation and garment sampling, as required.
- Maintain accuracy, quality and attention to detail.
- Take initiative and complete assigned work independently.
Required Skills
- Practical knowledge of sewing and stitching.
