- Prepare and edit CNC programs for VMC machines as per drawings
- Set up jobs, fixtures, work offsets and tool offsets
- Select the right cutting tools and machining parameters
- Make the first piece, check it with Quality and get approval before production
- Achieve daily production targets and reduce cycle time and setup time
- Control rejection and rework
- Guide and train VMC operators and allot jobs
- Follow job card, process sheet and correct drawing revision
- Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance and Quality
- Keep program records and daily production reports
- Support recent product development and 5S / Kaizen activities
