Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in mechanical design and industrial automation systems. The candidate will be responsible for designing conveyors, vibratory bowl feeders, step feeders, and customised automation equipment using 2D and 3D CAD software.

- Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop industrial conveyors, including belt conveyors, assembly conveyors, and customised material-handling systems.
- Design vibratory bowl feeders, step feeders, linear feeders, and drum feeders.
- Prepare 3D models, 2D manufacturing drawings, assembly drawings, and detailed part drawings.
- Use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other mechanical design software.
- Select suitable motors, gearboxes, bearings, sensors, and mechanical components.
- Prepare BOMs (Bills of Materials) and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, assembly, and purchase departments.
- Ensure designs meet customer specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Modify designs based on customer requirements and production feedback.
- Support installation,



commissioning, and troubleshooting when required.
- Develop cost-effective and reliable mechanical solutions for automation projects.
- Required SkillsKnowledge of mechanical design and machine components.
- Experience in conveyor design and material-handling systems.
- Knowledge of industrial automation equipment and feeder systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of fabrication, machining, sheet metal, and assembly processes.
- Positive problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- QualificationDiploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Relevant experience in mechanical design and industrial automation preferred.
- Experience1–5 years of experience preferred.
- Freshers with strong mechanical design skills may also apply.
