Key responsibilities

- Sample and test raw material, spent solvent, in-process and finished product on every shift
- Run moisture analysis by Karl Fischer titration (volumetric and coulometric)
- Run purity and impurity analysis on the GC (FID), including sample prep, injections, integration and reports
- Run routine tests: density/specific gravity, refractive index, pH, colour (APHA/Hazen), acidity, distillation range, appearance
- Advise production on cut changes and batch release from in-process results
- Approve or reject batches against spec; prepare COAs for domestic and export dispatches
- Calibrate and do daily checks on KF, GC, balances, density meter and other lab instruments; keep calibration records
- Prepare and standardise KF reagent and other lab reagents; keep reference standards
- Maintain lab records,



test reports and retain samples as per GLP
- Report out-of-spec results and instrument faults to the QC In-charge at once
- Follow lab and solvent safety rules: PPE, fume hood use, chemical storage, waste disposal

Skills Hands-on Karl Fischer titrator (Metrohm, Mettler or similar)

- Hands-on GC operation and basic troubleshooting (Agilent preferred; OpenLab/ChemStation software)
- Lab instrumentation: density meter, refractometer, pH meter, colour comparator, analytical balance
- Valuable knowledge of glycol and solvent specs (MEG, DEG, TEG, common solvents)
- Willing to work rotating shifts, including nights
- Marathi/Hindi; English for reports and COAs
