ABOUT REPOS
Repos is solving the Energy Paradox — optimising how India's enterprises consume fuel today, while building the distribution infrastructure for the fuels of tomorrow. Founded in Pune in 2017, Repos has grown into a deep-tech energy platform powering 25,000+ B2B enterprises across India through a network of 2,500+ fuelling partners. Backed by Ratan Tata, recognised by Forbes India, and selected among DPIIT's top 25 high-potential ventures at VivaTech Paris 2026 — Repos is not just changing how fuel is delivered. It is building the infrastructure backbone that powers India's most critical industries.
SUPPLY & DEMAND — HOW REPOS WORKS
Repos operates across two core functions: Supply and Demand. The Demand side acquires and grows enterprise customers — the businesses that consume fuel at scale and manage it through Repos' Total Fuel Management platform.
The Supply side — where the Zonal Associate sits — builds and grows the fuelling network that makes every customer promise possible. Without a strong, reliable, and expanding supply network, there is no platform. The Supply team is the infrastructure of Repos' entire operation — and the Zonal Associate is its frontline builder.
WHAT YOU WILL BE BUILDING
At the centre of Repos' supply ecosystem is the Repos Fuelling Station — and Total Fuel Management (TFM). Total Fuel Management (TFM) is Repos' unified platform that gives B2B enterprises complete command over their fuelling ecosystem — procurement, operations, and payments — through a single intelligent interface. For this to work at scale, Repos needs a robust, growing network of fuelling partners: retail outlet owners who have onboarded the Repos Fuelling Station onto the TFM platform and are actively serving enterprise customers through it.
The Zonal
Associate — Supply is the person who builds that network, outlet by outlet, zone by zone.
You will sell the Repos Fuelling Station to retail fuel outlet owners — helping them understand how becoming a Repos supply partner expands their business, increases their volume, and connects them to a platform that India's largest enterprises already trust. You will also work closely with officials from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, and others — to strengthen Repos' relationships across the fuel distribution ecosystem and unlock supply opportunities at scale.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Zonal Associate — Supply is Repos' network builder on the ground. You will be responsible for identifying, onboarding, and activating retail fuel outlet owners as Repos fuelling partners, managing those relationships, growing the supply network within your zone, and ensuring the fuelling infrastructure that enterprise customers depend on is always expanding, always reliable, and always improving. You will operate in the field — visiting outlets, engaging with OMC officials, understanding the ground-level dynamics of fuel retail, and translating that intelligence into a supply network that gives Repos a genuine competitive advantage in your zone.
This is a role for someone who is energised by the field. Who builds trust with outlet owners through consistency and credibility. Who understands that every new fuelling partner they onboard is a node in a network that powers India's enterprises — and who takes that responsibility seriously.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Fuelling Partner Onboarding & Network Expansion
- Identify and prospect retail fuel outlet owners across your zone who are well-positioned to become Repos fuelling partners.
- Sell the Repos Fuelling Station to outlet owners — articulating the business value of joining the Repos network: increased volume, enterprise customer access, and platform-enabled growth.
- Onboard and activate new fuelling partners onto the Repos TFM platform — managing the end-to-end process from first conversation to first successful order.
- Build a pipeline of prospective partners that keeps the supply network growing consistently within your zone.
- Ensure newly onboarded partners are fully activated, operationally ready, and delivering on customer requirements from day one.
2. OMC Engagement & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with officials from Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) — HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, and others — operating within your zone.
- Leverage OMC relationships to identify new supply opportunities, navigate partner onboarding requirements, and strengthen Repos' positioning within the fuel distribution ecosystem.
- Stay current on OMC policies, pricing dynamics, and operational requirements that affect Repos' supply network — and translate that knowledge into on-ground advantage.
- Coordinate with OMC officials to support partner mapping, compliance requirements, and supply chain alignment across your zone.
- Represent Repos professionally and credibly in OMC interactions — building institutional relationships that benefit the network long-term.
3. Partner Relationship & Retention
- Act as the primary point of contact for fuelling partners in your zone — building relationships based on trust, reliability, and mutual growth.
- Conduct regular outlet visits to understand partner requirements, surface issues early, and identify opportunities for volume growth within the existing network.
- Monitor partner activity, order volumes, and platform utilisation — proactively re-engaging partners whose activity has dropped before it becomes a supply gap.
- Resolve partner concerns quickly and completely — coordinating with internal teams in Pune to ensure the supply network never lets the demand side down.
- Build long-term partner loyalty: a Repos fuelling partner who is growing and satisfied is the strongest supply asset in any zone.
4. Supply Network Quality & Reliability
- Ensure the fuelling partners in your zone consistently meet Repos' quality, reliability, and service standards.
- Monitor supply availability and partner readiness to serve enterprise customer orders — flagging gaps before they become fulfilment failures.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Customer Success teams to ensure supply-side commitments align with demand-side promises.
- Support partner capability building — helping outlet owners understand the Repos platform, improve their operational processes, and grow their volume over time.
- Identify and address recurring supply issues in your zone, sharing structured inputs with the central team for process and platform improvement.
5. Market Intelligence & Zonal Strategy
- Develop a deep understanding of the fuel retail landscape in your zone — outlet density, OMC presence, competitive dynamics, and geographic opportunity.
- Identify the highest-potential areas for network expansion within your zone and build a prioritised prospecting plan accordingly.
- Track competitor activity and market shifts that affect the supply ecosystem — and surface intelligence to the central team proactively.
- Feed ground-level insights back to Repos leadership to sharpen supply strategy,
improve partner onboarding, and strengthen the platform's supply-side capabilities.
6. MIS, Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of partner onboarding status, outlet data, OMC interactions, and zone-level supply network performance in CRM and Repos systems.
- Track and report on supply network growth: new partners onboarded, activation rates, volume per partner, and zone-level supply coverage.
- Monitor performance against assigned targets and take corrective action proactively — not at the end of the quarter.
- Share regular updates, market intelligence, and network expansion opportunities with the HO team in Pune.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Must-Have
- 2–7 years of experience in field sales, channel sales, business development, or network expansion — preferably in B2B, fuel, energy, logistics
- Comfort and confidence in the field — you are energised by outlet visits, relationship building on the ground, and the pace of field-based work.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills — you can walk into a fuel outlet, earn the owner's trust, and make a compelling case for Repos.
- Understanding of or willingness to learn the fuel retail and OMC ecosystem.
- Ownership mindset and strong execution discipline — you manage your zone like it is your own territory and your own business.
- Willingness to travel extensively within your zone.
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding Marathi.
Valuable-to-Have
- Prior experience working with OMCs, petroleum dealers, fuel retail networks, or oil and gas distribution channels.
- Existing relationships with retail fuel outlet owners or OMC officials in your zone.
- Prior experience in a high-growth platform or technology-enabled distribution business.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE DIFFERENT
- You will build the supply infrastructure of a platform that 25,000+ enterprises depend on — every outlet you onboard is a node in a network that powers real businesses.
- Repos is expanding its supply network aggressively — the person joining now will be at the front of that expansion, with the visibility and growth opportunity that comes with it.
- Direct interface with OMCs and fuel retail — a rare, ground-level vantage point on India's fuel distribution ecosystem at a moment when it is being fundamentally disrupted.
- Your work on the supply side directly enables the Demand team's promises to enterprise customers — the connection between what you build and what the business delivers is immediate and tangible.
- A fast-moving organisation where field performance is visible, recognised, and rewarded — and where the best people grow quickly.
WHO WILL THRIVE HERE
- People who are genuinely at home in the field — who find energy in face-to-face conversations, ground-level relationship building, and the texture of real market work.
- Individuals who think in networks — who understand that every partner they onboard makes the next one easier to close.
- Operators with follow-through: you start things and you finish them — every onboarding, every OMC conversation, every partner concern.
- Professionals who take pride in their zone — who know every outlet, every OMC contact, and every supply gap in their geography.
- Anyone who has built something in the field that started from zero — and who knows exactly what it takes to do it again, faster.
FINAL NOTE
If you are looking for a role where the network is already built and your job is to maintain it — this is not that role. If you want to be the person who builds Repos' supply infrastructure in your zone — outlet by outlet, partner by partner, conversation by conversation — and whose work is the reason enterprise customers across India can always rely on Repos —
We're ready for that conversation.
