Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive, product-focused Associate Visual Designer with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team. In this role, you will define and craft digital visual touch points across the Rapido product ecosystem from app splash screens and key product graphics to micro-animations, Lottie assets, and engaging social media content. You will also take ownership of building and maintaining our illustration systems while leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate and elevate your design process.

Key Responsibilities

- In-App Visuals & Splash Screens: Design high-impact visual assets, splash screens, empty states, and onboarding screens directly for the Rapido mobile app.
- Illustration System & Guidelines: Define, maintain, and scale Rapido’s app illustration system and guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all product modules.
- Motion Graphics & Micro-Animations: Create smooth micro-animations and animated illustrations (using Lottie/After Effects) to enhance app interactions, delights, and feature callouts.



Should be able to work with JSON and other output formats and have experience in working with the development teams.
- Social Media Communication: Translate brand story and campaign concepts into engaging, high-performing visual assets and motion clips for social channels.
- AI-Assisted Workflow: Integrates generative AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT, Photoshop Generative Fill, Stable Diffusion, etc.) into visual exploration, moodboarding, asset generation, and speed up design flows.
- Brand Storytelling & Product Collaboration: Proactively collaborate with Product Managers (PMs), UX designers, and marketers to understand brand direction, core product goals, and user communication objectives.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in product-focused visual design, digital branding, or motion illustration (agency or high-growth tech product company preferred).
- Software Tools: High proficiency in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe After Effects, and Lottie.
- Good to Have: Experience with Rive for interactive micro-animations.
- Core Skills: Strong command over illustration styles, vector arts, motion principles, visual hierarchy, color theory, and digital storytelling.
- AI Literacy: Hands-on experience using AI design/generative tools to streamline workflows, concept art, and rapid asset generation.
- Mindset: Proactive problem solver with an eye for detail, robust communication skills to defend design choices, and a keen sense of brand voice.
