Role Description The Visitor Visa Counsellor will provide end-to-end support to clients seeking visitor visas, including initial consultation, eligibility assessment, and guidance on documentation requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include explaining visa rules and procedures, preparing and reviewing forms and supporting documents, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate client records. The role also involves regular communication with clients via phone, email, and in person, addressing queries, setting expectations, and updating them on application status.

The counsellor will collaborate with colleagues to stay current on policy changes, maintain internal checklists,



and ensure compliance with organizational standards. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad, requiring consistent office presence and direct client interaction.

Qualifications

- Strong client service skills, including clear communication, active listening, and a professional, empathetic approach to handling inquiries and concerns.
- Ability to understand and explain visa procedures, interpret requirements, and organize documentation with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets) and maintaining digital and physical records in an organized manner.
- Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage for client interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a structured office environment, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and meet timelines without compromising quality.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in counselling, administration, travel and tourism, or a related field; prior experience in immigration or visa services is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality, with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing visa regulations.
