Role Description The Video Editor role at Sortitouttt is a part-time position based in Faridabad with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some tasks to be completed from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing raw video footage into coherent, engaging content aligned with brand guidelines and project objectives. The role involves organizing and trimming clips, adding transitions, synchronizing audio, and performing basic color correction or grading as needed.

Editor will collaborate with content creators and other team members to refine storylines, incorporate motion graphics or text overlays, and prepare final exports optimized for various platforms.



Additional tasks may include maintaining a structured file management system, suggesting visual improvements, and staying current with trends in video editing and digital content.

Qualifications

- Strong video production and video editing skills, including working with raw footage and assembling polished final cuts.
- Proficiency in video color grading and basic graphics to enhance visual consistency and overall look.
- Experience with motion graphics and graphic design elements to create dynamic titles, lower thirds, and visual overlays.
- Ability to use industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Good understanding of aspect ratios, formats, and export settings for social media and digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects in a part-time schedule.
- Effective communication skills and comfort collaborating in a hybrid environment, both in-person in Faridabad and remotely.
- Relevant coursework, certifications, or prior experience in film, media, communications, or a related field are beneficial.
