Role Description The Transporter role at Tci Express is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. The Transporter is responsible for safely loading, transporting, and unloading goods according to scheduled routes and delivery instructions. Daily tasks include inspecting vehicles before and after trips, maintaining accurate delivery and pickup records, and coordinating with dispatch and warehouse teams to ensure timely service.

The role also involves following all traffic and safety regulations, securing cargo properly, and addressing basic customer inquiries at delivery locations. The Transporter is expected to keep vehicles clean,



report any mechanical issues promptly, and support overall warehouse and yard operations as needed.

Qualifications

- Ability to safely operate light and/or heavy commercial vehicles, with a valid local driving license and clean driving record.
- Basic knowledge of logistics processes, including loading, unloading, route planning, and handling delivery documentation.
- Robust attention to safety, including adherence to traffic rules, proper cargo securing, and awareness of workplace safety procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers in a professional manner.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle packages and materials as part of daily loading and unloading activities.
- Reliability and time management skills to follow schedules, meet delivery timelines, and maintain punctual attendance.
- Basic reading and writing skills in English and/or local language to understand instructions, fill out logs, and maintain records.
- Prior experience in transportation, courier, or logistics operations is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
