Company Description Consulting Infra Engineers (CIE), founded in 2022, is a team of experienced engineering professionals focused on delivering innovative, efficient, and cost-effective infrastructure solutions with a strong emphasis on quality and timely delivery. The firm specializes in structural design for a wide range of civil engineering projects, including bridges, flyovers, underpasses, cross drainage structures, and various temporary and protection works. CIE provides detailed design services for reinforced concrete and prestressed concrete structures, as well as complex steel structures such as composite plate girders and specialized truss systems.

The team leverages leading design software, including Sofistik, MIDAS Civil, STAAD, and Adsec Oasys, to ensure designs meet current industry standards. In addition to design, CIE offers proof-checking and technical support during construction, with a core focus on value engineering and sustainable, future-ready infrastructure development.

Role Description The Structure Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing accurate structural drawings and detailed plans for bridges, flyovers, underpasses, and other civil engineering structures, based on inputs from design engineers. Day-to-day tasks include creating and revising general arrangement drawings, reinforcement details, bar bending schedules, and fabrication drawings, while ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project specifications. The role involves coordinating with engineers, reviewing design inputs,



maintaining drawing records and documentation, and assisting in resolving drawing-related queries during design and construction phases.

The Structure

Draughtsman will also support value engineering efforts by clearly representing optimized design solutions and ensuring clarity and buildability in all drawings. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, India.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in structural drafting using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and ability to produce clear, detailed drawings.
- Solid understanding of civil and structural engineering fundamentals, including reinforced concrete and steel detailing, bar bending schedules, and standard detailing practices.
- Ability to interpret design calculations, technical specifications, and engineering sketches, and convert them into accurate, construction-ready drawings.
- Experience working with bridge and infrastructure projects, including familiarity with foundations, substructures, superstructures, and various structural systems.
- Knowledge of relevant national codes and standards commonly used for bridge and structural design and detailing.
- Careful attention to detail, strong quality focus, and ability to perform self-checks to minimize errors and rework.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with design engineers and project teams in an in office environment.
- Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering, Structural Drafting, or a related discipline; prior experience as a structural or bridge draughtsman
