Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end solution architecture (application, integration, data, security, infrastructure) for client engagements.
- Lead requirement workshops and turn outcomes into solution blueprints, architecture decision records and high-level designs.
- Design integrations with core banking, payments, treasury and third-party systems (ISO 20022, SWIFT, REST, Kafka).
- Define non-functional requirements and the architecture that meets them.
- Run fit-gap and build-vs-buy evaluations; recommend target state.
- Govern design through delivery: review detailed designs, resolve blockers, approve deviations.
- Guide cloud and DevOps design on AWS/Azure/on-prem, including containers and CI/CD.
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy and banking regulations (PCI-DSS, GDPR, local rules).
- Mentor technical leads; build reusable patterns across the practice.

Technical Skills:





Languages and frameworks - Java 17+, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

Architecture styles - Microservices, event-driven, API-first, domain-driven design, multi-tenant SaaS

Integration - REST/OpenAPI, Kafka, JMS/MQ, ISO 20022, SWIFT MT/MX, host-to-host and SFTP

Data - Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB; caching (Redis); data modelling and migration

Cloud and platform - AWS or Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm; Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

Security - OAuth 2.0 / OIDC, PKI, encryption at rest and in transit, secure SDLC, OWASP

DevOps - CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions), observability (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana)

Tooling - UML / C4 modelling (Enterprise Architect) Jira, Confluence
