- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in solar PV design, preferably in EPC companies.
- Strong experience in rooftop and ground-mounted solar systems.
- Hands-on experience in commercial & industrial (C&I;) solar projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, Helioscope or similar solar design software.

Role Description The Solar PV Designer will be responsible for designing rooftop and ground-mounted solar photovoltaic systems, including layout planning, string design, cable sizing, and preparation of single-line diagrams. Day-to-day tasks include performing site assessments, reviewing structural and electrical constraints, preparing detailed design documents and BOQs, and coordinating with project and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation. The role also involves using design software and tools to model system performance, optimizing designs for efficiency and cost, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety guidelines.

The Solar PV Designer will collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to clarify technical requirements and support proposals and presentations when needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaipur, with immediate joining preferred and a compensation range of up to 6–7 LPA, depending on experience and skills.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust knowledge of solar PV system design, including sizing of modules, inverters, cables, and protection devices, as well as preparation of single-line diagrams and layout drawings.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in relevant design and modeling tools (such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, SketchUp, or similar software) and be comfortable working with MS Office for documentation and reporting.
- Candidates should possess a solid understanding of electrical engineering concepts, basic structural considerations, and applicable standards and regulations related to solar installations.
- Candidates should possess the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, site survey data, and specification sheets, and translate them into practical, buildable designs.
- Candidates should possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills to evaluate site conditions, optimize designs, and identify potential risks or constraints.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, field teams, vendors, and clients, and to explain technical information clearly.
- Candidates should possess a degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related technical field; prior experience in solar PV design or EPC environments is highly beneficial.
- Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in Jaipur on a full-time basis, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
