Role Description The Software Engineer will work as part of a remote, contract team responsible for building and maintaining software solutions that support Talevo’s talent management and influencer marketing platforms. Day-to-day tasks include designing and implementing back-end services, writing clean and scalable code, integrating third-party APIs, and contributing to the architecture of data and workflow systems. The role involves collaborating with product and marketing stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance and reliability.





The engineer will participate in code reviews, maintain documentation, and ensure best practices in security and data handling.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid foundations in Computer Science and Software Development, with an understanding of core concepts such as data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), including experience with server-side frameworks, APIs, and modular code design.
- Candidates should possess solid Programming skills, preferably in one or more modern languages commonly used for web platforms (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, or similar).
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL), version control (Git), and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment, communicate clearly with cross-functional teams, and manage time effectively.
- Prior experience building or integrating marketing, analytics, or creator-focused platforms is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
