EALKAY is a business consulting firm. We advise founders and enterprises on strategy, finance, legal and technology. We started six years ago with two people in a 70 sq ft room. Today we are 30+ people serving 35+ clients.

Why this role exists

We build websites and content for EALKAY, our products and our clients. Good content is not enough if people cannot find it. You will help each site rank better on Google and bring in the right visitors.

This is an entry role. We will train you. We want someone curious, careful with details and keen to learn how search really works.

What you will do

Keyword research

- Find the words and questions people search for in each client's field.
- Group them by topic and share a keyword list with the content team.

On-page SEO

- Write and fix page titles, meta descriptions, headings and image alt text.
- Check that blogs and pages use the right keywords in a natural way.
- Add internal links between related pages.

Technical basics

- Run site checks for broken links, slow pages and missing tags.
- Work with our tech team to fix the issues you find.
- Submit sitemaps and track indexing in Google Search Console.

Local SEO

- Set up and update Google Business Profiles for local clients like restaurants, clinics and stores.
- Keep business name, address and phone the same across listings.

Off-page

- Find good quality sites for listings,



guest posts and backlinks. No spam links.

Reporting

- Track rankings, traffic and leads for each site.
- Prepare a straightforward monthly SEO report for each client.

How we will measure success

Targets for each site are set after the first audit. We will review these every month.

Who we are looking for

Must have

- A graduate in any field. Marketing, mass media or IT is a plus.
- Basic understanding of how Google search works: keywords, on-page and backlinks.
- Good written English. You can spot a weak title or a clumsy sentence.
- Comfortable with Excel or Google Sheets.
- Careful with details and happy to follow a checklist.

Good to have

- An internship, college project, blog or website where you did SEO.
- Google Analytics or Search Console certification, or a HubSpot or Semrush course.
- Basic HTML and WordPress knowledge.
- Interest in AI search, like Google AI Overviews and ChatGPT search.

What will not work for us

- Shortcuts like keyword stuffing, bought links or copied content.

Tools you will use

Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Google Business Profile, Google Keyword Planner, an SEO suite such as Semrush , Screaming Frog, WordPress and Google Sheets.
