Role Description The Senior Workday Consultant is a full time, on-site role located in Hyderabad, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of Workday solutions across Human Capital Management and HRIS domains. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, configuring Workday modules, creating functional specifications, and coordinating end-to-end testing with stakeholders. The consultant will manage integrations, troubleshoot production issues, and provide expert guidance on Workday best practices and process improvements.

Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with HR and finance teams, preparing documentation, conducting user training, and supporting change management activities.



The role also includes mentoring junior team members and partnering with cross-functional pods to ensure Workday capabilities align with Echonex clients’ scaling and operational needs.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in Workday Human Capital Management and Human Resources (HR), with a track record of leading end-to-end implementations or major enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), including system configuration, data management, and integration with related platforms.
- Working knowledge of Workday Financial Management or related finance modules, with the ability to collaborate effectively with finance stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, solution design, testing, and deployment in a consulting or enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; relevant Workday certifications are highly beneficial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects or workstreams.
- Experience working with fast-growing or high-volume operations, with familiarity in process optimization and scalable system design.
