Role Description The Senior Technical Services Engineer – Marine Diesel Engine is a full-time, in office role based in the Pune Division. The role involves providing advanced technical services and support for marine diesel engines, including diagnostic assessments, troubleshooting complex issues, and leading root-cause analysis. The engineer will perform hands-on inspections, commissioning, maintenance planning, and performance optimization for customer vessels and equipment.

Daily responsibilities include preparing technical reports, advising on repair and overhaul procedures, collaborating with design and production teams,



and guiding customers on best practices for engine operation and lifecycle management. The position also requires regular communication with clients, training end users and service teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant safety and marine standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Services and Technical Support skills for marine diesel engines and related systems.
- Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting and Analytical Skills to diagnose complex mechanical and performance issues.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Relevant experience in marine diesel engine maintenance, commissioning, and field service, preferably in a senior or lead capacity.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Marine Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
- Knowledge of marine regulations, safety standards, and engine control systems is beneficial.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, service manuals, and performance data, and to use diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Willingness to travel within the Pune Division and to customer sites as required.
