Job Title: Senior Engineer, Technical Publications

- Plan the development of publications for new models in line with the production plan.
- Able to read and comprehend engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Identifying the need for technical publications (Owner’s manuals, Operation Manual, Maintenance and Service Parts Manuals).
- Familiar with common Engineering/Technical Authoring tools and computer applications such as NX, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe FrameMaker, Photoshop and PLM tool preferably Teamcenter.
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimum supervision and perform with a degree of accuracy in the execution of job assignments.




- Studying PLM drawings and specifications for publication creation and clarify technical queries from Engineering.
- Must have good organizational skills, be able to prioritize work, accurately perform duties with constant activity in the area and pay close attention to detail.
- Manage the publication development activities to ensure the availability of the publication Material as per the timelines.
- Proofreading the publications (Corrections, Technical updates, Grammar check)
- Validating the newly developed publication materials for specification, content, standard operating procedures.
- Innovation & current technologies to be incorporated in Publications
- Taking initiatives for Digitization of Publications

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of personal computer systems with Microsoft Office, Adobe Products and PLM tools preferably Teamcenter
- Ability to read and reliably interpret all technical manuals
- Logical and creative approach

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

- High level of English language proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work and communicate with proposal subject matter experts (mostly engineers)
- Highly motivated individual with good, organized approach to challenges
- Good communication skills (i.e., when speaking with engineers, maintenance SME's or pilots, be able to interpret their requirements into usable text)
- Must be able to work under pressure, relate to others and maintain flexibility with schedules of the department
- Be autonomous on daily normal duties

Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/Automobile/related branches with 7-10 years of technical publications experience.
