JD with primary and secondary skills – Datawarehouse Developer with strong ETL and MS SQL skills

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse schemas, tables, views, and materialized views.
- Write complex MS SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and partitioning.
- Develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
- Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and BI teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across the warehouse environment.
- Support production systems by monitoring jobs, troubleshooting failures, and resolving issues promptly.




- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving data development standards and best practices.
- Document ETL workflows, data mappings, and database structures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 5-9 years of hands-on experience in MS SQL Server development.
- Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts, star/snowflake schema, and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with Python is a plus.
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

- Good understanding of Capital Markets domain is a plus
