Responsibilities

- Collaborate with design team members to develop architectural details, shop drawings, and submittal packages for wall cladding and building envelope systems.
- Apply knowledge of US architectural design and construction practices to prepare accurate, coordinated, and construction-ready documentation.
- Proficiently use computer-aided design and drafting software, including Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
- Perform drafting, layout development, modelling, annotation, and basic calculations related to architectural and construction drawings.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings based on supplied architectural plans, design documents, sketches, and project specifications.
- Read, interpret, and coordinate US construction documents, including architectural and structural drawings, specifications, and relevant building envelope details.
- Communicate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, designers, and project managers, to obtain the technical information required for project execution.
- Provide timely updates on drawing progress, deliverables, workload, and project milestones.
- Perform component-based material takeoffs and quantity assessments using approved shop drawings.
- Coordinate drawing revisions and incorporate design changes, technical comments, and quality-control feedback in accordance with project requirements.

Skills & Experience





- Demonstrated experience in US-based architectural projects, particularly architectural drafting, construction documentation, detailing, and coordination.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, and SketchUp.
- In-depth understanding of the architectural design process, including drafting, 3D modelling, annotation, coordination, detailing, and construction documentation.
- Familiarity with US construction documentation standards, drawing conventions, building assemblies, and architectural detailing.
- Preferred experience in building envelope systems, wall cladding, exterior wall assemblies, and associated shop drawings and submittal packages.
- Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate architectural drawings, structural drawings, construction documents, and related technical specifications for US projects.
- Understanding of construction materials, component detailing, dimensions, and material takeoff procedures.
- Robust organisational and time-management skills, with a self-driven approach to managing multiple deliverables and deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving, technical research, and development skills, with the ability to resolve drawing-related discrepancies.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
