Role Description The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and monthly financial closing. This full-time, in office role in Kozhikode involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and local regulations.

The Senior

Accountant will review and improve internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and provide financial insights to management for decision-making. The role also includes supervising junior accounting staff,



resolving discrepancies, and supporting finance-related process improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in financial accounting, general ledger management, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliation, and cash flow management.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
- Knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
- Comfort with accounting software and ERP systems; familiarity with ERP Next or similar platforms is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and supervisory skills to guide junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent are preferred.
- Prior experience in a senior accounting or similar role, ideally within a dynamic, service-focused organization.
