Role Description The Security Specialist role is a full time, on-site position based in Chennai. This role involves monitoring and managing security operations, including both physical and information security measures, to protect people, assets, and data. Daily tasks include assessing security risks, implementing security protocols, coordinating with local teams and command centers, and responding to incidents and alerts in a timely and professional manner.

The Security

Specialist will document incidents, prepare reports,



and support audits and compliance checks related to security policies and procedures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, participation in security drills, and ongoing improvement of security practices are core aspects of the role.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Cybersecurity and Information Security practices.
- Practical expertise in Physical Security, including access control, surveillance systems, and site safety protocols.
- Skills in Network Security, including monitoring, threat detection, and basic troubleshooting.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders during routine operations and incidents.
- Familiarity with security tools, monitoring platforms, and incident management systems.
- Ability to work in an on-site environment with rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
- Relevant certifications in security domains (such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in security operations, e-surveillance, or facility security management is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Criminology, Security Management, or a related field is beneficial.
