Role Description The SEO & WordPress Developer will be responsible for improving organic search visibility, driving qualified website traffic, and maintaining and optimizing Allzone’s digital properties. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting keyword research, implementing on-page and technical SEO strategies, performing SEO audits, and optimizing website content and structure. The role also involves developing and maintaining WordPress websites, customizing pages using Elementor, troubleshooting website issues, improving website speed and user experience, and implementing technical SEO enhancements.

Additionally, the candidate will support Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), and AI-driven search strategies to improve visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered search platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai, requiring close collaboration with content, marketing, and development teams.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research, Competitor Analysis, and SEO Audits to identify opportunities and improve organic search performance.
- Candidates should possess practical experience in On-Page SEO, including meta tags, content optimization, internal linking, URL structure,



and website architecture.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience in WordPress website development, maintenance, and content management, including Elementor page builder.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of HTML, CSS, basic JavaScript, and PHP for website customization and troubleshooting.
- Candidates should have experience in Technical SEO, including crawlability, indexability, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, canonical tags, redirects, schema markup, and broken-link resolution.
- Candidates should be capable of optimizing website speed, Core Web Vitals, mobile responsiveness, and overall user experience.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of AEO, GEO, AI-powered search optimization, and AI tools for keyword research, content optimization, and SEO analysis.
- Candidates should have practical experience with Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools such as Semrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Link Building, backlink analysis, and outreach strategies to improve website authority and search visibility.
- Familiarity with WordPress themes, plugins, website hosting, cPanel, website security, and troubleshooting technical issues is preferred.
- Knowledge of Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), landing page optimization, lead tracking, and website form optimization is an added advantage.
- Solid analytical, reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and execute SEO and website development projects within established timelines.
- A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Digital Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or a related field is preferred.
