We specialize in delivering high-performance solar power plants, EPC projects, and sustainable energy services. We are looking for an experienced and strategic Purchase Manager to join our Gurugram team and lead our procurement and supply chain operations.

Role Overview:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for end-to-end procurement and strategic sourcing of solar PV modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS (Balance of System), and EPC electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical understanding of solar components with sharp commercial acumen to negotiate favorable terms, develop robust vendor networks, and drive procurement efficiency within strict project timelines and budget parameters.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Sourcing & Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research, tracking global and domestic solar component prices (modules, inverters, steel structures), supply chain dynamics, and regulatory trends to execute strategic purchasing decisions.
2. Vendor Development & Relationship Management: Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage qualified domestic and international vendors/OEMs. Build strong long-term strategic supplier partnerships.
3. Price Negotiation & Commercial Contracting: Lead aggressive commercial and technical negotiations regarding pricing, payment terms, warranties, delivery schedules, and service level agreements (SLAs) to maximize cost savings.
4. Order Execution & Purchase Orders (PO): Review requisitions, issue RFQs/RFPs, finalize comparison sheets, and place precise Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements and project timelines.
5. Material Planning & Inventory Control: Collaborate closely with site project managers,



design engineers, and finance teams to ensure material demand forecasting, timely delivery to site, and optimal inventory levels without project downtime.
6. Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure procured items meet solar industry standards, project technical specifications, and quality certifications (ALMM, BIS, IEC, ISO). Coordinate with third-party inspection (TPI) agencies.
7. Cost Optimization & Analytics: Implement cost-reduction strategies, value engineering initiatives, and benchmark supply metrics to optimize total cost of ownership (TCO).
8. Logistics & Supply Chain Coordination: Oversee transit logistics, customs clearing, insurance claims, and material tracking from supplier factory to project site in Gurugram / pan-India locations.

Qualifications:

1. Total Experience: Minimum 5 years of dedicated purchasing experience within the Solar Energy Sectors (Mandatory). Overall 8+ years of core experience in Procurement / Purchase / Supply Chain Management.
2. Educational Qualification: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering or MBA in Supply Chain / Materials Management / Operations.
3. Software Proficiency: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or Tally) and Advanced MS Excel.
4. Location Preference: Based in or ready to relocate to Gurugram, Haryana.
