Role Description The Production Manager will oversee day-to-day operations at the food processing unit, ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards. This full-time, on-site role based in Kerala, India includes planning production schedules, managing resources, and coordinating with procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance teams. The role involves supervising production staff, monitoring equipment performance, and implementing process improvements to meet volume,



cost, and quality targets.

The Production

Manager will also ensure adherence to GMP, GHP, ISO, and FSSAI guidelines, maintain accurate documentation, and support audits and inspections. Collaboration with R&D; and management to introduce new products and optimize existing lines is a key part of the day-to-day responsibilities.

Qualifications

- Experience in food production or manufacturing operations, including supervision of production lines and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of food safety, quality control, and regulatory standards such as GMP, GHP, ISO, and FSSAI, with the ability to implement and monitor compliance.
- Skills in production planning, process optimization, and resource management to meet output, cost, and quality objectives.
- Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to guide staff, resolve operational issues, and maintain a positive work setting.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and use basic production and inventory management tools or software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant experience in lieu of formal education may be considered.
- Attention to detail, commitment to hygiene and safety, and readiness to work on-site in a fast-paced production setting in Kerala, India.
