About the Role

We are seeking a visionary and experienced academic leader to serve as Principal. You will lead the college’s academic and administrative functions, uphold high standards of teaching and learning, and guide the institution toward continued growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide academic and administrative leadership to the institution
- Oversee curriculum implementation in line with Bharathidasan University and UGC regulations
- Lead, mentor and evaluate faculty and non-teaching staff
- Plan and monitor admissions, examinations, results and student support services
- Drive quality assurance initiatives, including NAAC and NIRF accreditation and IQAC activities
- Promote research, innovation, faculty development and industry-academia collaboration
- Maintain discipline, student welfare and a positive campus culture
- Coordinate with the management, university, government bodies and regulatory authorities
- Represent the college in academic forums,



parent meetings and community engagement

Requirements

- Ph.D. in a relevant subject with a Master’s degree (as per UGC norms for Principal)
- Substantial teaching and administrative experience in a higher education institution (typically 15+ years, including professorial experience, as per UGC norms)
- Proven leadership, decision-making and people-management skills
- Strong record of research publications and academic contributions
- Experience with accreditation processes (NAAC/NBA) preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
