About the RoleJaish Public School is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Computer Science & Information Technology Teacher to teach students in Classes 8–12. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in computer science, effective classroom management skills, and the ability to explain technical concepts through practical, student-centred learning.

The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering the prescribed curriculum, conducting practical sessions, assessing student progress, and encouraging students to develop digital literacy, logical thinking, and programming skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Computer Science, Information Technology, and relevant computer applications according to the subjects assigned and the applicable CBSE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments in accordance with the prescribed syllabus.
- Conduct practical computer laboratory sessions and guide students in applying theoretical concepts.
- Teach relevant topics such as computer fundamentals, programming, database concepts, networking, internet safety, and digital literacy, as applicable to the assigned classes and syllabus.
- Introduce programming concepts and problem-solving techniques appropriate to students' grade levels.
- Evaluate students through assignments, practical examinations, projects, and periodic assessments.
- Maintain academic records, attendance, assessment results, and other required documentation.
- Support students in projects, practical activities, and academic competitions where applicable.
- Maintain discipline and ensure the responsible, safe, and effective use of computer laboratory facilities.
- Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher interactions, training programmes,



and other school activities.

Eligibility Criteria
- A relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a recognised school or relevant educational institution.
- Strong subject knowledge and the ability to teach computer-related concepts effectively.
- Practical knowledge of relevant programming languages, computer applications, and digital tools.
- Good communication, classroom management, and student engagement skills.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, evaluate students, and maintain academic records.
- Ability to use digital teaching resources and technology-enabled learning methods.
