Role Description The Paint Shop Production Engineer is responsible for overseeing daily paint shop operations in an on-site manufacturing environment located in Ahmedabad. This full-time role includes planning and managing production schedules, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that paint processes meet quality and safety standards. The position involves monitoring equipment performance, supervising application of paints and coatings, optimizing material usage, and maintaining documentation related to production and quality checks.

The engineer will analyze process data to improve throughput and reduce defects, implement corrective actions,



and support preventive maintenance of paint shop machinery. Collaboration with quality, maintenance, and production teams is essential to ensure timely delivery and adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Production Engineering, with experience in paint shop or surface treatment processes.
- Analytical Skills to interpret production data, identify root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement.
- Production Planning capabilities to schedule workloads, allocate resources, and balance capacity with demand.
- Quality Control skills to establish standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with specifications and safety norms.
- Effective Communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams, prepare reports, and guide shop-floor personnel.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience in an industrial paint shop or manufacturing environment, including familiarity with coating technologies and safety practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced production setting.
