Role Description The Owner role at AP Oil in Maharashtra, India is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for overall business direction, performance, and growth. The Owner oversees operations, including production, quality assurance, supply chain, and safety, ensuring compliance with international standards and local regulations. This role includes setting strategic goals, managing budgets, and guiding commercial activities such as market expansion, partnerships, and key customer relationships.

The Owner collaborates with functional heads to optimize plant efficiency, maintain product quality,



and drive innovation in lubricant formulations and services. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve team leadership, risk management, and making data-informed decisions to support sustainable, long-term business success.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and business operations.
- Business management, financial acumen, and budgeting skills to manage P&L;, investments, and resource allocation effectively.
- Industry knowledge in lubricants, petrochemicals, or manufacturing, including familiarity with quality standards (e.g., API, SAE, ISO, ASTM) and regulatory requirements.
- Operational management skills in production planning, supply chain, logistics, and plant efficiency, with a focus on safety and compliance.
- Relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills to work with customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and functions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent experience in senior leadership may be considered.
- Prior experience as a business owner, managing director, or senior executive in a manufacturing or industrial environment is highly beneficial.
