About the Role

2ndRank is looking for experienced and enthusiastic coding mentors with strong expertise in Python and Scratch to teach students through live 1:1 online classes. As a coding mentor, you’ll work directly with international students, simplify technical concepts, develop their problem-solving skills, and adapt your teaching approach according to each learner’s age, level, and progress.This is a part-time remote opportunity suited for coding educators who enjoy teaching children and are comfortable working during the US shift.

What You’ll Do

- Conduct live 1:1 coding classes for students aged 5–16.
- Teach Python and Scratch according to the student's learning level.
- Explain coding concepts in a simple, age-appropriate, and engaging manner.
- Create an interactive learning environment that encourages participation.
- Adapt your teaching approach based on individual student needs and progress.
- Conduct demo classes when assigned.
- Maintain regular class schedules and timely attendance.
- Track student progress and provide relevant feedback.
- Use the 2ndRank Mentor Portal to manage classes, schedules,



and assigned work.
- Communicate professionally with the internal team regarding student progress and class requirements.

What We’re Looking For

- 1+ years of coding teaching/tutoring experience.
- Strong knowledge of Python and Scratch.
- Experience teaching children or young learners is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in your own words.
- Comfortable conducting live 1:1 online classes.
- Good command of spoken English.
- Comfortable teaching students from international markets.
- Availability during the US Shift (12:00 AM–6:30 AM IST).
- Ability to commit up to 4 hours/day, Working Days: 7 days/week (1 weekly day off of the mentor’s choice)
- Reliable internet connection and suitable setup for online teaching.
- Passion for coding education and engaging young learners.

? Compensation & Earning Potential

Monthly Earning Potential: ₹28,800–₹40,000

The earning potential is based on the expected teaching workload of approximately 4 sessions per day, 7 days per week, along with additional opportunities through demo classes and successful student conversions.Your monthly earnings can vary depending on student availability, classes assigned, sessions conducted, and performance-based incentives.

- Additional Earning Opportunities Demo Class Incentive: Additional payment for assigned demo classes.
- Demo Conversion Incentive: Additional incentive when a demo student converts into a full student.
- Student No-Show:



Payment applicable when a student does not attend a scheduled class, subject to the company's no-show policy.

The monthly earning range represents potential earnings and is not a fixed guaranteed salary. Actual earnings depend on classes assigned and completed.

Selection Process

Round 1 — Initial Screening A short screening to understand your teaching experience, coding expertise, availability, and overall suitability for the role.

Round 2 — Founder’s Interview The founder will assess your coding knowledge and your ability to understand and explain concepts clearly in your own words.

Round 3—Demo Class: Shortlisted candidates will conduct a live demo class with a student

.Immediate Hiring: Candidates who successfully perform in the demo and receive positive student feedback may be hired immediately.
