Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Examine patients, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions.
- Prescribe appropriate medications, investigations, and treatment plans.
- Provide emergency medical care and stabilize patients when required.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
- Refer patients to specialists or higher-level healthcare facilities when indicated.
- Maintain accurate patient medical records, prescriptions, and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention, patient safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Participate in health education, disease prevention, and community health activities.




- Monitor and report communicable diseases and other notifiable conditions as required.
- Follow applicable medical ethics, qualified standards, and legal requirements.
- Ensure the proper use of medical equipment and availability of essential medicines.
