Role Description This is a full time, on-site Medical Oncologist role based in Secunderābād.

The Medical

Oncologist will evaluate and manage patients with solid and hematologic malignancies, performing detailed clinical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include prescribing and monitoring chemotherapy and other systemic therapies, coordinating with radiation oncology and surgical teams, and participating in multidisciplinary tumor boards. The role involves counseling patients and families on diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options, and side-effect management,



while ensuring adherence to evidence-based guidelines and safety protocols.

The Medical

Oncologist will also contribute to clinical documentation, participate in quality initiatives, and support training and education activities within the hospital.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Medicine with the ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and manage complex medical conditions.
- Expertise in Oncology and Cancer care, including diagnosis, staging, and formulation of individualized treatment plans.
- Proficiency in Chemotherapy management, including regimen selection, toxicity monitoring, and supportive care.
- Understanding of Radiation Therapy principles and coordination of care with radiation oncology teams.
- Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and postgraduate qualification in Medical Oncology or equivalent, with valid registration from relevant medical councils.
- Experience in hospital-based oncology practice, preferably in a multi-specialty or tertiary care setting.
- Strong communication and counseling skills to support patients and families through complex treatment decisions.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines.
