Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer with mandatory hands-on experience in Power Transformer Design to join our design team in Vadodara.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop power and distribution transformers, including structural design.

Prepare customer documentation, manufacturing drawings, detailed technical drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project specifications and requirements.

Provide technical support during the manufacturing process.

Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and IS, IEC, and IEEE standards.

Work on transformer layouts, clearances, creepage distances, cleat and lead arrangements,



accessories, and their functions.

Continuously improve transformer designs for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Required Skills & Competencies:

Mandatory experience in Power Transformer Design.

Strong understanding of transformer structural design and manufacturing requirements.

Knowledge of IS, IEC, and IEEE standards.

Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or CATIA.

Familiarity with FEA tools.

Knowledge of winding design will be an added advantage.

Positive technical documentation and coordination skills.
