What You Will Do

Are you ready to shape enterprise data products that make trusted information accessible to analytics, applications, and AI? As a Lead Data Engineer, you will lead the architecture and development of virtualized data products and semantic layers using Denodo. You will establish standards and governance, guide engineering teams,



and partner across platforms to create scalable, reusable, AI-ready data capabilities.

What You Can Expect

- Lead the architecture and development of enterprise virtual data products using Denodo virtualization and semantic modeling.
- Define and govern canonical business models, ontologies, business glossaries, semantic layers, naming conventions, and development standards.
- Design complex joins, unions, aggregations, transformations, and reusable semantic patterns for reporting, analytics, APIs, and AI agents.
- Optimize Denodo performance through caching, query pushdown, aggregation strategies, and virtualization best practices.
- Provide technical leadership to Data Engineers, AI Engineers, LLMOps Engineers, and platform teams while enabling API-first integration across AWS, analytics, catalog, AI, and enterprise platforms.

What You Will Bring

- 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or Analytics Engineering.
- 5+ years of Denodo implementation experience, including enterprise semantic layers and virtualized data products.
- Strong knowledge of Denodo, AWS services such as Lambda and Glue, ETL, APIs, data modeling, ontologies, data governance, and API design.
- Experience with Generative AI, agentic AI frameworks, and LLMOps.
- Strong stakeholder-engagement, consulting, and technical-leadership skills.

What will set you apart?
- Experience designing AI-ready data platforms.
- Knowledge of AI-governance standards.
- Familiarity with Amazon Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI, or similar platforms.
- Experience implementing enterprise metadata, lineage, and semantic-governance frameworks.
