About the RoleWe are looking for a Punjabi Language Associate with a robust understanding of Punjab’s political landscape, regional affairs, and socio-cultural background. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating Punjabi-language content to ensure linguistic accuracy, factual correctness, and cultural relevance across our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Review, edit, and proofread content in Punjabi, ensuring grammatical accuracy and natural language usage.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Punjab’s political background, political parties, leaders, policies, and current affairs.
- Track political developments, regional news, public issues, and emerging trends in Punjab.
- Verify facts, political references, names, and contextual details before content publication.
- Collaborate with content writers and video editors to develop engaging Punjabi-language scripts, reels, captions, and other digital content.
- Translate and localize content from Hindi or English into Punjabi while preserving the original meaning and context.
- Ensure political content is presented accurately, responsibly, and in the appropriate regional context.
- Monitor social media trends and public discourse relevant to Punjab’s political and cultural environment.




- Coordinate with the content team to maintain consistency in language, tone, and quality across platforms.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Excellent proficiency in Punjabi reading, writing, and comprehension.
- Strong knowledge of Punjab’s political history, political landscape, current affairs, and regional issues.
- Good understanding of Punjabi culture, traditions, and local audience preferences.
- Strong fact-checking, proofreading, and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Hindi and/or English for translation and coordination.
- Familiarity with social media platforms, digital content, and short-form video formats.
- Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines and handle multiple content assignments.

Preferred Candidate ProfileA language professional with strong Punjabi writing skills, political awareness, and an understanding of regional sentiments and current affairs.
