Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs, along with experience leading a team of developers, driving technical decisions, and ensuring code quality and application performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Define technical solutions and application architecture aligned with business requirements and development standards.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate services across distributed systems.
- Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for development team members.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, design principles, and software development best practices.
- Identify and resolve complex technical issues, performance bottlenecks, and production defects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, QA teams, and stakeholders to deliver projects successfully.
- Drive technical discussions, effort estimation, task allocation, and delivery planning.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, build processes, deployment activities, and production releases.
- Ensure application security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical status reviews.

Mandatory Skills




- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and Java/J2EE.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Microservices architecture.
- Strong experience in RESTful API design and development.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Knowledge of exception handling, multithreading, collections, and JVM fundamentals.
- Experience in code reviews, technical design, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience leading or mentoring a Java development team.

Good-to-Have Skills
- Hibernate/JPA.
- Messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Automated testing using JUnit and Mockito.
- Monitoring, logging, and application observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Experience
- Overall experience: Typically 8–12 years.
- Relevant experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Prior experience in a Technical Lead or equivalent technical leadership role.

Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile A technically solid Java professional who can balance hands-on development with technical leadership, mentor developers, make sound architectural decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery of scalable microservices-based applications.
