Job Summary

We are looking for an IT Network Engineer responsible for managing IT infrastructure, laptop and desktop setup, disk partitioning, software licensing, network administration, user access permissions, and basic network security. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, maintaining system security, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Laptop & Desktop Setup: Install, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, operating systems, and required business applications.
- Disk Partitioning: Perform hard disk partitioning, drive formatting, storage allocation, and system configuration.
- Software Licensing: Manage software installations, license activation, license renewals, and compliance with software licensing policies.
- Basic Networking: Configure and troubleshoot LAN, Wi-Fi, IP addresses, DNS, DHCP, routers, and switches.
- User Access Management: Grant, modify, and revoke user permissions for systems, shared folders, applications, and network resources.
- Network Security: Implement basic network security measures, manage access controls, maintain antivirus protection, and ensure systems follow IT security policies.
- IT Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and system performance issues.
- Data & System Management: Assist with data backup, system updates, patch management, and routine maintenance.
- IT Asset Management:



Maintain records of laptops, desktops, software licenses, IT accessories, and other IT assets.
- Documentation: Maintain IT inventory, configuration records, user access logs, and technical support documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in laptop setup, operating system installation, and disk partitioning.
- Knowledge of software licensing, installation, and activation.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Experience in user account management and granting or restricting access permissions.
- Understanding of network security, antivirus tools, firewalls, and access control.
- Positive troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide technical support to employees and maintain IT documentation.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Knowledge of backup procedures, endpoint security, and basic firewall configuration.
- Ability to work independently.
