Role Description This full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad is for an Investment Banking Associate / Senior Associate / AVP supporting transactions across M&A;, capital raising, and strategic advisory. The role involves building and maintaining detailed financial models, preparing valuation analyses, and producing investment memoranda, pitch books, and internal decision documents. The professional will conduct sector and company research, perform due diligence, analyze financial statements, and support deal execution from origination to closing.
Responsibilities include coordinating with clients, investors, and internal teams,
preparing presentations and reports, and tracking transaction pipelines and market developments. The role requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach, strong client communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance with advanced Analytical Skills and the ability to interpret complex financial and sector data.
- Expertise in Financial Modeling, including cash flow projections, scenario analysis, and deal structuring for M&A; and fundraising transactions.
- Hands-on experience in Valuation, such as DCF, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and real estate or alternative asset valuations.
- Practical exposure to Due Diligence, including financial, commercial, and operational review, and preparation of supporting documentation.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field; skilled certifications (CA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and comfort working with data-heavy reports and presentations.
- Ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams, manage deadlines, and maintain high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
- Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related advisory roles is highly beneficial.
